French-Australian family daycare provider

A passion project for my local family daycare. Their space was vintage-inspired yet vibrant, open-plan yet cosy, rock & roll yet professional, child-led yet structured. To capture this spirit I appreciated so much for my own children, I crafted a website featuring vibrant illustrations that aimed to draw in new families, explain their services more clearly and organise clear calls-to-action.

TAP for Sydney Water

CITY TERRARIUMS - Design Competition Winner

Sydney Water invited the community to help redesign the look of the tap™ water bottle in 2012 showing why sustainability is important on a personal level. The top 5 designs were printed on aluminum water bottles and used in an installation at The Powerhouse Museum in Ultimo. The installation featured an interactive display where viewers could "swipe" through each design projections.

My design, "City Terrariums", is based on the concept of finite resources being reused in order to thrive.

This piece provides a whimsical perspective on our role as city citizens as we identify ourselves with these miniature dwellings, and also serves as an autobiographical depiction of my international upbringing and curiosity around the idea of “home”.

Hunter Scooter

Project scope

  • Logo and branding

  • Website

  • Print marketing

The Hunter Scooter look originated in the alleyways and chop shops of Tokyo in the early 2000's.

The Hunter scooter is Australia's first customizable petrol-powered scooter. The last incarnation, Hunter Scooter Wraith 170cc (March 2020), introduced the most powerful scooter yet, clocking speeds up to 100kmph. Drivers express their individuality in a mass-produced world on a Hunter scooter by adding performance mods, swapping out kit, modifying the existing parts or changing the upholstery or factory paint. The street-legal scooter turns heads on the street, adds fun to commutes to work, and is perfect for a weekend cruiser. Ride, customise and connect with other gear heads with a Hunter.

*Note - production of the Hunter Scooter ceased in 2021 due to pandemic manufacturing closures.

Personal Training Business

A personal trainer wanted to appeal to self-starters and employ clients’ sense of heroic warriors. Hand-drawn type was complimented by rugged, soldier styling and bold copy.

The choice to commit to black-and-white photography also factored in the business' owners’ capacity and concern for creating social media content. By editing photos on his phone before he posted to match this styling, he was able to keep a harmonious sense of branding on a low budget. Pre-formatted posts were also added to his toolbox to give his online presence a strong, clear voice and call to action.
